Vinegar! Just saying the word makes me pucker my mouth. While some people may shy away from the stuff, I have to admit that I do love me some vinegar with my french fries.
But when vinegar isn’t doing its duty trying to add some sourness to a dish, this incredible ingredient can be used in many different ways that will no doubt surprise you. You see, white vinegar is created by fermenting ethanol with acetic acid bacteria to create the acetic acid that is then mixed with some water. Super simple but also super versatile! And of course, there are other types of vinegar such as apple cider vinegar, and you better believe that it’s super versatile as well! So what can you do with these common humble ingredients?
